Students love taking part in many of our sports teams and extra-curricular activities. Our swim program has attracted students from all over the world. They love the high standard of swimming with the Simon Fraser Aquatics club and the excellent facilities at Simon Fraser University (SFU).
Our arts program is another big draw to Burnaby. We are the only school district in BC that has music specialists at the primary level. Many of our students have gone on to win scholarships to prestigious dance academies, art institutes and music conservatories.
Another great reason to study in Burnaby is Burnaby itself! Burnaby is a modern, creative, multi-cultural city. In summer locals love to get out on the nearby hiking trails and spend time in nature.
We’re also very lucky to not experience harsh winters like the rest of Canada, but we’re still very close to some world-class ski resorts. Vancouver is only a short journey away thanks to our excellent public transport system. It’s easy to see why Burnaby attracts students from all over the world to our schools!
