Many international students choose to extend their studies in Burnaby — a reflection of their positive experiences, strong academic growth, and sense of belonging in our schools and community.

To ensure the highest quality experience for all students, renewal is not automatic. If we observe that a student has not been committed to their academic responsibilities, we may wait to approve renewal until improvement is demonstrated. We are committed to supporting each student’s success and will provide guidance where needed.

How the Renewal Process Works

Students must be invited to renew their enrolment. Once renewals open, an invitation will be sent to custodians and students. For some countries, only the agent will receive the renewal form. The email will direct you to download the form from this website.The Renewal Form includes important reminders, including:
  • Ensuring to apply to extend their Study Permit
  • A reminder for those not returning that their medical insurance will expire when their current enrolment ceases.
To reserve a seat, the completed Renewal Form and tuition deposit must be submitted by the deadline.
