Cycle Urban Trails

Another great way to stay active this spring is by getting on your bike! Cycling is very popular here and we have a great network of cycle-friendly paths.

The most popular trails are the Urban Trails of which the majority are paved and completely separate from motorized traffic, allowing you to peacefully and safely cycle and explore Burnaby. Deer Lake Parkway Urban Trail is one of the most popular trails for cycling as it brings you through the tranquil and serene Deer Lake Park.

Another favourite is the Trans Canada Trail. This is just a tiny snippet of a trail that stretches all the way across Canada! The section in Burnaby hugs the shore of the Burrard Inlet and passes through Capitol Hill Conservation Area – a fantastic way to spend a spring day!
