Camilla, aged 17, has been a student at Moscrop since September and will be staying until the end of January. An accomplished and talented volleyball player, Camilla joined the Moscrop Senior Girls Volleyball team and has led the team to important tournament wins.
Christmas and Winter Holidays are coming and it is time to start planning what you will do over the Christmas Break. From December 25th to January 5th, Burnaby schools close and you will need to fill up your itinerary above and beyond any homework. Luckily there is no shortage of things to do in Metro Vancouver so make some time for fun.
You’re on the go, with a million things to do. And you still need to eat. Sometimes even the most organized students will need to eat out from time to time. On the plus side, Burnaby’s is host to a multitude of inexpensive restaurants and cafes – that don’t sacrifice flavour or creativity.
Q: What is the difference between school in Burnaby and school in Belgium?
A: You choose your own courses here. In Belgium, school is more streamed. For example, you can choose languages, so you take a whole bunch of courses within that stream.
