Visual & Performing Arts
Visual & Performing Arts
In Burnaby, the arts aren’t just electives—they’re a dynamic part of student life. We offer one of the most diverse Visual and Performing Arts programs in British Columbia, with opportunities for students at every level to discover and grow their creative talents.

Our commitment begins early. Burnaby is the only district in the province with music specialists in every elementary school. Students participate in regular music classes, engaging art projects, and school performances that inspire confidence and creativity.
Develop Your Portfolio
In secondary school, students can deepen their skills in professional theatres, dance studios, and rehearsal spaces. Our Advanced Placement (AP) Arts courses provide university-level training, helping students build impressive portfolios that have earned them scholarships to top art and music schools.

“My most memorable moments in Burnaby were performing on stage as part of the school’s dance company. It was so amazing!”
