World Rivers Day
When: September 23, 2018 | 11 am – 4:30 pm
Where: Burnaby Village Museum
World Rivers Day is a global event celebrating rivers in Canada and around the world. This year is the 14th anniversary of World Rivers Day and the 38th annual Rivers Day in BC.
World Rivers Day is full of fun for everyone. Things to do during the day include live entertainment, hands-on activities, displays and demonstrations.
There will also be a carousel open to ride and the Burnaby Village to explore!
Culture Days in Burnaby!
When: September 29th – 30th
It’s time to celebrate Culture Days in Burnaby. Experience fun and free public programs at the Burnaby Village Museum, the Burnaby Art Gallery, and the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
There are lots of activities happening over the two days:
- Multilingual Tours
- Visual Art Talks
- Fine Art Shows
- Printmaking & Silkscreening Activities
- Ceramic Demonstrations
- A Tea Ceremony
- Community Dance
