Leadership & Clubs
Student Life - Leadership & Clubs
One of the best parts of Canadian education is what happens outside the classroom. In Burnaby, numerous leadership and club activities help students make friends, grow their confidence, and get involved — all while boosting their university applications.

Leadership Opportunities
Leadership programs let students help organize school events, mentor younger peers, and volunteer in the community.
Students can also run for Student Government roles, including a special position for international student reps at many schools.

“Through my experiences in Leadership class, Student Council, and the Dance Company, I found a strong sense of belonging. The supportive environment in Burnaby encouraged me to challenge myself and apply to Canadian universities. I’m truly grateful for how much I’ve grown here, both academically and personally.”
Clubs & Community
Each Burnaby school offers 20 to 60 student-led clubs — from arts and academics to sports and global issues. Clubs are a great way to explore interests, volunteer, and have fun.
